There are many people who have a job and a or a car but can't afford rent. At night they have a hard time finding somewhere to be. They constantly by night security and or police get told to move. One thing that can be done, especially in large cities for those willing to remain with their cars is to find abandoned lots and or unused businesses. Then turn those lot to allow people to park their car and sleep inside them from sunset to sunrise. In addition set up a porta potty if at an abandoned lot for people to relieve themselves on getting rid of human waste. This helps cities better track the homeless and keeps them out of other areas at night while being able to sleep comfortably. In addition in coordination with programs you can send a case manager to these lots once a week to work with those who are willing for transitional housing, resources, progress checks and try to stem the tide while these people still have a vechile.
