PRAYER IN SCHOOLS
Monlux supports prayer in school. He believes that schools should start and end the day with prayer. He also supports two (2) minutes of silent prayer before the start of each test, since exams inspire prayer. For those with daily meditation traditions, Monlux supports class exemptions and or alternative time for daily meditation in an alternative room. In addition for those of the Islamic faith he supports setting up a room where participants can face Mecca in school during time that overlaps with time in school. For Jewish students he supports similar room accommodations for overlap with school activities during the Shacharit (morning), Mincha (afternoon) and Marivv (evening) prayers. In addition students of good health wishing to partake in religious fasting shall be allowed to do so freely.
PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE
I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Monlux supports all American students saying the pledge of allegiance in schools. God/Jehovah/Yahweh/Allah/Brahman/Sikhism God/Ahura Mazda are the same God. In addition many (not all) Native American tribes have mixed Christianity with their native/indigenous customs and beliefs. In addition invoking the US Deceleration of Independence it states:
"When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature AND OF NATURE'S GOD ENTITLES THEM, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, THAT THEY ARE ENDOWED BY THEIR CREATOR WITH CERTAIN UNALIENABLE RIGHTS, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men,"
God entitled the Nation of America and has bless these rights of liberties among people, therefore appreciation in the pledge of allegiance should be given while deriving origins of a Christian nation. Submitting to a jurisdiction other than the Creator would be to sign away those rights.
In addition atheist are free to cross their fingers behind their back while one nation under God is said. For Foreign exchange students they are free to be exempt from the pledge. Student NOT wishing to OR parents NOT wanting their child student to participate in the pledge of allegiance may sign an opt out form which allows their kid to either remain seated, quietly stand and or take a knee like during the pledge like an NFL athlete during the National Anthem. This way the minority opposition is allowed special silent protest/opt out/boycott while the large majority of Americans can continue with the patriotic pledge toward their country and acknowledgement of freedom under God the Creator.
