Music is very important in the world we live in today. Music should be a requirement in elementary school. At least 1 of the 3 years in Jr. High/Middle School should be devoted to music course offerings. It should also be available to all students wishing to take music classes in High School and College. In addition music provides a valuable benefit to society and the culture as a whole while serving as inspiration for many. Monlux supports keeping music in schools. Religious exceptions should be granted for those with religious/moral objections to music.
